Obinna Akuchie is a Nigerian professional football goalkeeper known for his sharp reflexes, strong shot-stopping ability and composure between the posts. With experience across Nigeria’s professional football landscape, Akuchie has established himself as a reliable and competitive presence in goal.

He previously featured for Vandrezzer FC, before joining Kun Khalifat FC, where his performances played an important role in the club’s historic rise to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). His displays earned recognition for his quick reactions, goalkeeping instincts and ability to perform under pressure.

In July 2025, Akuchie joined Rivers United, making the step up to Nigeria’s top-flight football after helping Kun Khalifat achieve promotion. He has since continued to build his professional career and add valuable experience at the highest level of domestic football in Nigeria.
